Countering Disinformation in the United States

December 16, 2021

On December 16, 2021, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission released a new white paper, "Countering Disinformation in the United States." The white paper is the result of research and deliberation by Commission staff and commissioners and specifies seven recommendations to both diminish the prevalence of disinformation in the information ecosystem and build greater individual and societal resilience to disinformation and malign foreign influence.

2021 Annual Report on Implementation

August 12, 2021

On August 12, 2021, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission released the "2021 Annual Report on Implementation." This assessment is intended to review the implementation of the recommendations made by the Commission over the course of the previous year and identify areas for future action.

Transition Book for the Incoming Biden Administration

January 19, 2021

On January 19, 2021, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission released a new white paper, "Transition Book for the Incoming Biden Administration." This white paper is intended to provide a guide for the incoming Biden-Harris administration, identifying possible early policy achievements and suggesting priorities for action over the coming months and years.

Building a Trusted ICT Supply Chain

October 19, 2020

On October 19, 2020, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission released a new white paper, "Building a Trusted ICT Supply Chain." This white paper proposes a five-pillar strategy to work with critical partners in the private sector and around the world to reinvigorate American high-tech manufacturing and secure the United States' ICT supply chains. On October 21, 2020, the CSC Staff will host a public webinar discussion of this white paper.

Growing a Stronger Federal Cyber Workforce

September 4, 2020

On September 4, 2020, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission released a new white paper, "Growing a Stronger Federal Cyber Workforce." This white paper reemphasizes the Commission's prior recommendations on the cyber workforce and presents a detailed blueprint to guide the development of a comprehensive Federal cyber workforce strategy. On September 4, 2020, the CSC Staff will host a public webinar discussion of this white paper in collaboration with Dakota State University.

Cybersecurity Lessons from the Pandemic

June 2, 2020

On June 2, 2020, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission released a new white paper, "Cybersecurity Lessons from the Pandemic." This white paper highlights over 30 recommendations from our final report published in March, along with four new recommendations. On June 3, 2020, the CSC Staff will host a public webinar discussion of this white paper.
